4. Young Leaders

At Stone Hockey Club we are committed to developing you as a junior player, both on and off the pitch. This means we not only want to develop your playing skills, but also your life skills such as teaching you leadership abilities.

WHY WE WANT TO OFFER THIS?
We want to offer the chance for our juniors to use hockey and physical activity to develop and hone their leadership skills. Leadership opportunities allow juniors to grow in a positive environment that promotes personal growth. They will develop interpersonal skills such as communication, problem solving and organisation. Being part of this programme will give them a greater sense of responsibility leading their peers, younger children and the wider community.
