All members of Stone Hockey Club who have regular interactions with our junior members will be required to undergo a DBS check, which will be arranged by Emma Biddulph (Welfare Officer) on behalf of Stone Hockey Club.

Stone Hockey Club will be using the systems advised by England Hockey for their DBS checks.

The Clubs welfare officer will utilise England Hockey's best practice guidance to determine who requires a DBS check within the club, dependent upon their role.

Welfare and Safeguarding Training

England Hockey have developed their own online safeguarding courses to provide ensure the relevant position holders within any hockey club have the relevant training. The Clubs Welfare officer will ensure that all appropriate members have attended the relevant training sessions in line with England Hockey's policies, procedures and best practice.
