Eight teams took part in the Coarse Tournament on Sunday May 14th on a mainly bright day with the occasional shower. The grass pitch looked very good considering it is rarely played on.
Sutton Colefield ran out the eventual winners for the third year running with Riverside winning the Shield.
Real ale supplied by the Stone base Lymestone Brewery proved popular with the beer drinkers.
The tournament has been organised by Paul Hopkins for many years ably assisted by a team of volunteers.
